Nortel still has ~14m shares .. ?? ... according to this - ca.biz.yahoo.com ... so it's not like they've bailed out completely
I'm ready for broadband ... can't stand tv because of the way they control the feed to you, and the adverts [although some are pretty funny, worth seeing the first two times] ... but a broad selection of radio channels, and movies on demand, that i'd pay money for ... up to now, the only thing i've bought over the net is financial info, and the great majority of that from stockwatch ... but we rent movies an average of once a week, and have to drive several miles to get and then return them ... then every once in a while i forget, take it back a day late and have to pay extra, that's real fun -g-
When the content is there, the demand will appear, making for demand for the carrier ... i would expect ... there is a thread called 'Last Mile Technologies' or something like that ... an old friend from the days of poking fun at the rmil/mtei/aznt hypesters, wireless wonk, he posts there and says sensible things imho ... it's an area out of my league technically though ... cheers
