Greywolf, Razor, hello.

3 to 6 feet is more likely than 3 to 6 meters for a pipeline burial, but that's just an opinion. Either one is quickly accessible with one piece of heavy equipment or a determined squad, and the damage can actually be more devastating because it can now be shaped.

More likely that they would hit a pumping station, which is always above ground and, because of its expensive manifolding and equipment, a bigger bang for the buck.

Just my two subversive cents. by the way, I recall the bombing as being at a pumping station near the port city, and production was down about 2 days. I haven't checked the facts - I have only a handful of brain cells left, and checking them is much quicker.
