Its worse than that... The markets are combating six controlling factors that are applying negative pressure: 1. The possibility of a severe crisis in the Global banking and Global securities system( lack of liquidity ); 2. Re-setting of equity prices for a slower Global economy over the next 3 to 5 years; 3. Re-setting of equity prices for a slower US economy over the next 3 to 5 years; 4. High debt levels on investor's margin accounts; 5. High oil prices; 6. High natural gas prices. Markets do not rise under circumstances such as these..... the markets will be headed down, ... most probability after option expiration of this month ( April, 20, 2001 ) or around ... That being said, I'm a big follower of EWaves, however, the long term EWaves models(over 2 months) on this thread,... I doubt will work,....these are special times in the markets .... its all about liquidity
