I subscribe to Barry Rosen's Fortucast Mutual Fund Timer. He has been short Arktos and Ursa but just went long as of the close on today (a bit late!). His timing on the equities has been off lately -- but these markets have been really volatile and tricky for everyone. His allocation as of today's close is: Sector %Allocation Money Market 20% Long Stocks (NOVA) 20% Long Stocks (OTC) 20% Short Stocks (URSA) 0% Short Stocks (ARKTOS) 0% Long Bonds (RYDEX) 20% Short Bonds (JUNO) 0% Gold Funds 0% Energy Funds (RYEIX) 20% Energy Services (RYVIX) 0% On 4/9 he said to stay out of gold as he expects it go to the $244-$246 region. Every day I read this newsletter, check your read on Rydex and market position, scan S.I., then make my own decisions.
