JNPR More creative reporting

Excluding goodwill and other items, Juniper's profits rose to $58.6 million, or 17 cents a share, from $8.1 million, or 2 cents a share, a year ago.

The results were in line with Wall Street profit forecasts, which ranged from 21 to 25 cents a share, with a consensus forecast of 25 cents, according to research firm Thompson Financial/First Call.

They miss by 4 cents, have to use proforma accounting to do it and the results were "in line"

Amazing
