My point is all people have SOME good points.

I took the most extreme example to make a clear point that even the mothers of people on death row love them (for the most part) but we don't excuse their bad deeds.

People get upset that critics like geode doesn't mention Bob's great points when they speak of him. I say this is silly.

Lets do a sports analogy. Lets say "Barry Bonds goes 0 for 4 today". How do you want people to write about this? I suppose you want them to say "Barry Bonds struck out three times and grounded out to the pitcher today while going oh for four. He stunk the joint out. What made it really remarkable is before each pitch, he yelled at the pitcher 'you will wish you have never been born' as he pointed to McCovey Cove in right field. Bonds was treated to a round of boohs after each failed attempt to launch a pitch into the drink. For fairness, sarep says to mention that Barry Bond has good table manners."
