At this point, about 20% of men make my decision.

I didn't know that the number was so large. I only know of one family. The husband doesn't have any similarly situated male friends. In their case it is more a question of taking turns. They will soon be headed abroad to his foreign service job. I think it's so very important that families can make those kinds of choices now. Once it was not only socially aberrant, it was not feasible for women to earn enough to make it a viable option.
