Polarbear, Just bought 2,000 Winslow Gold, VSE on E-Trade. It was the first trade of this account. I found out they bought the stock in a few minutes at LESS than what they said the ask price was!!!!! No extra charges and commission of $19.95. (This is what the service rep said. If the confirmation in the mail says something different, I will tell you).

So, I have no bad story to tell. Of course, when I called an hour later to confirm the trade, I waited on the line for 10 minutes to talk to a customer service rep.
