I owned UTEK from 96 until recently. I visited the company, met AZ stayed in touch with IR, went to lunch with their IR rep and generally stayed on top of every detail.

They've let me down too many times. Ultrabeam never worked, P-gild is still evolving and now called something else--still no sales. It's time for me to move on.

I bot a big position in 5/99 at 13 even and sold recently at 30. So that did well and freed up cash to buy other equips. But I just broke even on all my other UTEK shares I've been holding for a couple years.

UTEK was a great learning tool. The lesson is don't fall in love with a company.
