I suspect it will be a lot shorter in the tech sector, but still years not quarters>> Jim P You may be right in principle but I'll wager that the "tech glut" will clear in less than a year because of the growth rate that will return late next year and through 2002. It takes about 1/5 as long to clear a CAPACITY glut while accelerating to 25% growth ( tech, chips etc) as it does to clear a COMMODITY based glut at 5% growth ( Oil business with a non-cooperating OPEC crowd ). hitsoft17
