They also cite the figure of the market gaining on average 25% after 3 rate cuts...but and it's a big one...both of those stats apply to all the rate cuts in the past 100 years vs the two periods that most resemble the current one...the 30's and the 72-74 bear market. In those periods the Fed rate cuts did not have the "typical" market response.
