I actually agree -- other datafeeds limit the number of symbols one can watch realtime and QFeed should have similar limits put on. I've noticed that I have something like maybe 50 symbols up in my other datafeed and don't miss the ones I don't have up while my QCharts workspaces frequently had more than a few hundred just out of pure inertia. Also, I've been hearing about user written applications that track 100s of symbols for alerts etc based on changing real time charts . . . again, these sorts of applications would be a lot more limited in their capability to bog down servers if the number of symbols they could watch was limited.
