Hi KailuaBoy; My feeling on the China thing is that the US is still walking around with a big chip on its shoulder despite the (successful!) completion of the cold war. If I were China, I'd be sure to give the plane a good going over. I'd return in about the same condition that the US returned the Mig-25 that the pilot defected to Japan in. (We took it apart.) That said, it's pretty clear that their pilot was a moron. But we really don't need to fly military airplanes 65 miles off the borders of countries we are at peace with. Maybe 200 miles would be acceptable. -- Carl
