RE: "Anybody who can throw a dart at a list of leading chip or chip equipment makers
can probably gain much more than 100% in less than 2 years."

I think the operative word is "probably."

I have been holding and adding to my positions and all are chip and chip equipment. I would like to reach 3, 5 baggers in 3 to 5 years and I believe it is attainable in some number of years.

I just wonder if we or anyone else really understands the dynamics of bubble deflation as it applies to US technology markets, both equity and commercial.

Are we fooling ourselves? The secular growth of technology is certainly intact and key to our future economy and way of life, but isn't it possible that the extremes of the last few years will result in a hiatus in growth and a severe technology recession?

You have been more bullish than I for a while now. How confident are you?
