Data, while I like the fact that you shorted NEM and posted that you did, I think you'll find a consensus on this board (and most other boards where some thought happens) that CNBC is better used as a contrary indicator than anything else.

At the end of March I pointed out that Maria B was bearish on NG, (much to the consternation of some NG bears who will go unmentioned) and suggested that this was a buy signal. Since then both the commodities and the equities have rallied.

Keep your eyes open for a steady stream of bearish comments about the metals for the next few weeks. Then you'll know something is afoot. Something already is, but why post? Those that will go long already are and have been since last year, and those that are in a "prove it to me" mode will see gold dust fly and little else. Those that are short...
