| Just buy one, take it home, plan a whole meal out of the recipes in the magazine, serve it and don't say a word. I did this for about 4 months. Then I started saying "good meal eh? Cooking Light, yep great recipes." We had a Peppered fillet mignon with shitake mushroom sauce, Pan glazed onion, spinach, bacon, and cheese quiche and a lovely salad (bagged, with some additions like carrots, broccoli, brussel sprout leaves and croutons with a dressing made out of balsimic vinegar, homemade raspberry vinegar, olive oil and home grown herbs, for dinner tonight. It is a lot of work but it is my work. It is expensive but we are worth it. There were 14 grams of fat total in the meat and quiche part. Didn't count in the salad dressing but in the dessert Blueberry pound cake there were 5.5. All of this is per serving. You have to follow directions to the "t" and serve the amount that they call a "serving". Very filling. I'm tellin ya, I am losing the lbs. and the food is so delicious. For lunch and breakfast I eat yogurt, fruit, nuts and cheese. Then of course I swim. My hubby called the meal tonight "delicious and hearty". ;-) M |
