I don't agree. "Don't Tread on Me" is now in order in contrast to the last 30 years when restraint was the right call. You can't lead the parade of peace without a line of gun ships. We seem to go back and forth with this kind of foreign policy in our history. In evidence for example, I'm seeing a subtle change in Brent Scowcroft towards this attitude. Apparently what the media knows about the unknown war is almost nothing. There seems to be an international conspiracy rooted in arms merchandising which has now grown to alarming proportions and stimulated confrontation. China is a big seller of arms worldwide. It has been kept very secret, but is provoking those who know into ever greater concern and attentiveness.
