Man... you have some issues here my friend that need some working out.. I honestly suggest you take some time away from s/i until your anger is worked out.. Lets try this spin:
for 2 years, I tried to apply a rational explanation as to why the market kept going higher and higher.. I saw days where the CNBC most advanced board was filled with +40 and +70, day after relentless day.. It was insanity.. and people like you kept laughing at short sellers, and s/i was overrun by perma bulls. I remember it all my friend- and although I play both long and short, there were times where I got squeezed and personally had to swallow posts from people like you throwing it in my face about a new era, and old rules dont apply blah blah..
Grow up.. Stop making rounds on every thread that has a percentage of people who play the short side.. Its only annoying people, and making a reputation for yourself. Its also not very healthy.
Incidentally, I still think CSCO will touch $10 in the next month or two. If it does? I wont be looking for you to rub it in.. but im sure if it dosnt, and the markets have bottomed like you believe- youll be here tooting and hollering.. Thats just immaturity.. So please, put your rose colored glasses on, and go back to wherever it was you came from where the sun shines every day and all the children/adults and animals hold hands in perfect harmony.
oh by the way- When I looked at a few of your postings, you ramble on about shorts getting taken to the cleaners or the meat grinder. Just about every short seller I associate with is very well educated in the art of asset allocation which makes it virtually impossible to go bust.. There is no stock that is too dangerous to go long or short on if you managed the position properly.. Why dont people understand this? If you get 500 points on the nasdaq, my RIMM, CCMP and MU shorts would cost me only last weeks gains on my long positions.. and ill reshort again or go long.. whats the big deal?
