I went to CCD classes run by seminarians in the Augustinian Order attached to a consortium at Catholic University.

When I was a kid, I thought it would be cool to be a Jesuit. But of course, I did not have that opportunity. My religious training consisted of memorizing from the Baltimore Catechism. I'm sure you can understand why that was not very satisfying and why the Church seemed to me to be quite anti-intellectual.
