I wonder about that too. So clearly I have uncommon propensities. All of my life I have felt a bit "different." There are lots of ubiquitous beliefs, customs, and needs that I find alien. I like to think I'm fairly smart. I know I have good listening skills and that I'm relatively open minded. And, regardless of what Neo may think <g>, I have plenty of curiosity. What should I conclude when, despite my best efforts to understand the holders of these beliefs, I just can't relate? The "different wiring" conclusion seems reasonable to me, too, at least as a working hypothesis. Karen
