It comes down to the idea that you can create something that is essentially accurate, useful and honest, but you can't control how people will use it for their own purpose which may be less than accurate and honest.

I still content that if people were generally more informed about what it is that moves stock price they would be less inclined to think that there is wide spread manipulation in the markets. Do people attempt to manipulate? Absolutely, but are they successful.....this is up to debate. But most of these mysterious moves can be explained not by conscience conspiracy but they are a natural occurrence in a market where large groups of independent players all come to the same conclusion at once. That's the beauty of a market, it knows more collectively than any one of it's individual participants.
