Dave, not to beleagure the math but we both agree 100,000 cops for 260,000,000 people is 1 for every 2,600. Whether you express it as a decimal or %. My point to scum was that there are other factors at play in regards to crime I believe are far more impactful than additional officers. Hey, I'm all for more cops. Many of my friends are cops and I have cops in the family. I wish we had more and that people appreciated the difficulties they face daily. I just believe that full employment does far more for crime than more cops.
