Heck, you 2 could be a translators for them since whoever translated the letter from the missing pilots wife made a mistake and thought one of the kanji meant coward when it really meant something quite a bit different.

I never claimed to be an expert on Asian cultures. What I said was, "I'm just a person that's been throughout the Asian area for a good chunk of my life and I'm familiar with some of the cultures. I'm also familiar with the realities of the area." That's hardly claiming to be an expert on Chinese culture don't you think?
Sorry...when someone says they have spent a good chunk of their life in a region, throws a little Japanese around, speaks very authoritatively on the subject, confidently interjects those comments into an ongoing conversation on a thread he has never posted before......I kind of get that the person is strongly suggesting that they have a good understanding of the subject, maybe even better than the one held by the recipient of their posts and that if one were smart, they would listen......my mistake.

As far as ignoring anyones comments, I wasn't aware that either of the 2 people you mentioned directed a response to me. I don't read this entire thread every day, especially when the market's like it was today. I respond when I feel like it, I don't post just to be prolific.
You mean you managed to see my post with the criticism but still managed to miss the posts by two people who know the Chinese culture because of their ethnicity and who were questioning the conclusions of the so called China experts on the thread..the ones who have "spent a good chunk of their lives in Asia".
Oh wait, I get it...you have selective post reading...its similar to those people who have selective hearing.....you only read what you want to hear.
