Yet one more example of the Law of Unintended Consequences. Probably not a good time to be a small creditor, nor a good time to try to borrow money with less than grade "A" credit. Had a lady in my office this afternoon who makes $30K and her husband makes $70K, with $30K in credit card debt and she is considering divorce and her husband is considering both divorce and bankruptcy. I advised her to sell the house and take the money and go back home to mom.

Nonfinancial commercial paper outstandings continue to plummet.
