Where is the gas going to come from to fuel the rally past panic buying? Are venture capitalists whipping their checkbooks out all of a sudden? Are banks falling all over themselves to loan money?

What's it made of? A collective sigh of relief that we aren't sliding into the Great Abyss yet, anyway. Fear of losing out. Relief that we aren't going help China with their population problem, nor will we yet see how well the technology they stole from us works - I believe it was UnBelievable who said that - a great line.

And everybody putting money into their IRAs before April 16.
