Maybe you're right CYBERKEN. But remember, he was a young idealistic guy, and the movement did do many positive things in the early years.

Well said on you previous post. I couldn't agree more. Radical environmental groups, such as Greenpeace today, actually hurt the cause of environmental stewardship, more than they help.

Take the Kyoto Protocols as an example. More than a decade was spent on that treaty, and in the end it didn't clean up a thing, but simply shifted pollution from one nation to another. It was nothing more than a 'socialistic energy redistribution scheme'. Designed to make leftists politicians take some bows, and fool people into believing something tangible was getting accomplished toward cleaning up the worlds ecosystem.

In other words, it was a complete fraud, perpetuated by spin doctors. Nothing more, nothing less. The only ones who were fooled were the radical far left elements of the Democrat party. And even they couldn't get one Senator to sign on to the idiotic treaty!
