Only if freedom of speech is allowed, which it will be on this thread. If you notice, on most boards, you either agree with the masses or the queen bee of that particular thread, or you are cast aside or flogged in the middle of town square<ggg>.....I look back now when I have some spare time and have researched the actual porch, posts, the people and etc.....several very telling factors. If you didnt agree with the lead people, you were attacked and treated as dirt. If you continued to offer an opposing view, you were shown the door. I admitt, some idiots deserved to be shown the door, but there were plenty of people that were very nice, yet their views were different and they were shown the door anyhow. Next, porchers had/have the tendancy to talk alot of smack.....talk bad about the bears and go on and on dishing it out, yet they rarely are good at accepting back, what they have given. I have seen many porchers ridicule, make fun of, attack, mock and etc, etc, many, many people....yet when they are wrong and it's time for the shoe to be put on the other foot...well, most don't take it. if you dish it out, you should be able to take it, yet on the porch they seem to think it's ok to dish it out, but god forbid anybody return the favor. In hindsight, I personally believe that every porcher would be better off today if they were more open minded and accepted other viewpoints. The facts are this....all porch stocks were killed last year. All porch strategies were annihilated.........had other views been allowed and listened to and given some thought, many people would be much better off. Sure we all know we are responsible for our own actions, but lets be honest and say that we also know some people simply take the advice of others and act. Freeus comes to mind. Whatever the main porchers said to buy, she did. Needless to say, alot of money was lost by alot of people. One of the reasons for this is opposing views simply were not tolerated on the porch. Free speech....nope, not on the porch. You either agreed with the stocks and buy strategies, or you were not welcome there. As long as threads are run in that manner, they will be useless. A thread must be diverse with opinions on both sides of the coin accepted and given thought to. If you dish it out, you best be able to take it as well. if you make a bad call, be prepared to admitt you made a bad call.....if somebody else's opinion ends up correct and you are wrong, you should embrace defeat and learn something from it, rather then ignoring or banning the person............So, so any of these threads to be sucessful, you need to take the keys to the thread away from biased and predjudiced people and let the thread become diverse with different people and different ideas...it will never work if a thread is 100% one sided and only wants to hear the side of the coin they happen to believe in, and chastise, ignore or ban folks with a different opinion.

Something in our constitution that has something to say about "free speech", is not taken into consideration much on these threads, and that is a shame.
