XYLAN CORP. (Nasdaq:XYLN) slid $2 5/8 to $14 5/8 on announcing that it expects a possible sequential decline in quarterly EPS and revenues due to lower-than-expected orders from a large OEM and lower-than-planned shipments of ethernet products. Its guidance for EPS is below current estimates of $0.14 per share for the second quarter.
