Microsoft is the going to be the test this week and it happens late week.
After that the market tanks or goes higher.

The weighting of MSFT in that index has just increased so much thanks the near disappearance of the Ciscos of the world. The relative weighting must have increased big time as it appears to be lone survivor of the tech wreck.
(if anyone knows the weighting of MSFT in the Nasdaq100--i would appreciate getting that information).

If it was to drop 5 to 10 points, the Nasdaq tumbles and vice versa.... and of course a lot depends upon how MSFT does ahead of the earnings.
