It's not Bush, he's just their front-man. Do some reading on the subject instead of listening to Rush and you might learn something. Preaching to the choir doesn't teach anyone anything. I'm not anti-republican just anti ripoffs and pollution. I'm sure McCain wouldn't be allowing this to happen. Soft money from polluters and gou8gers is at the heart of it all and Bush was created by soft money, plus a family name. How can you even begin to defend this? It's not just California, it's everywhere except the oil patch where energy is cheap. And the Midwest and Rockies and rural areas which largely voted for Bush will end up being harder than anyone. They have to drive long distances and depend on agriculture. If you live in Montana for instance you have to heat your home 8 months a year and drive 50 miles for groceries. Think of the difference that makes.
