So you think the P4 is Intel's equivalent to the K6-2?

You could be right.

I'd advise buyers to avoid both the K6-2 and the P4 at this point.

AMD didn't do too well for several years after K6-2 350 came out and it looks like the same thing is happening to Intel as the P4 becomes their main processor core.

That PPro/PIII core sure resulted in a great run for Intel, though, didn't it? Those were the good old days, too bad they're gone.
