Bush/Cheney hoping for shortages and higher gas prices. As if they're still running oil companies. Instead of defending our interests they're defending price-gouging polluters' interests very actively and without apparent remorse. Read this carefully from the BP stockholders meeting, and see how Bush/Cheney have encouraged oil companies to drop alt fuel campaigns and eco-friendly programs. Write your congressmen to try and put a stop to this mentality which ought to be illegal, and maybe is. news.independent.co.uk
