when i used to watch television a few years back, there was this show, 'the single guy.' he had a chinese girlfriend and she was busted trying to get a cuban bra; the lady cop confiscated the bra (if memory serves).

i had known about the stockings and from the show extrapolated that the cubans must have been masters at other lingerie types. perhaps the show was in error.

in any event, even the fact of cuban stockings is enough to warrant a lifting of the embargo.
