Yeah, what's the sense in blaming the problem on Clinton and his cronies, who were in power for 8 years and never completed a serious energy policy. When we can now lay all the blame on Bush/Cheney, who have been in power for 3 months.

Typical obfuscating Democrat talking points, which stray so far from dealing with the actual problem it's pathetic.

After all, what's the sense in actually coming up with a sound energy policy when we can just blame it all on Bush/Cheney, or a "vast right wing conspiracy"?

You have just hit on something which so disgusts me about Democrats. They would be more than happy watching our country go down the tube, while pointing the finger of blame, instead of actually tackling serious issue which face our nation.

Energy is the driving force of our economy. And we simply must stop pointing fingers and get down to business. Having a President and Vice President who are familiar with the business of energy, can only be a good thing as we move forward to solve the problem of lack of supply. But instead of looking at it as a plus for our nation, Democrats such as yourself, have taken the political low road and used their expertise as a weapon to toss political stones their way.

How utterly ridiculous to blame Bush for the California energy crisis. He inherited the nightmare from Clinton, and it's something he's going to have to deal with. It's as simple as that.

If blaming Bush on this problem is the best Democrat talking points you guys have going, you must be feeling very insecure and desperate these days.
