Gottfried, if you were into Nasdaq stocks, maybe Russell was right in 1977.

"Anyone for Dow 2500? Dow theorist Richard Russell raises the
prospect in Barron's. I'm not dismissing the theory, but Russell would have had you out of stocks in 1997..."

In late 1977 the Nasdaq was at ~1800. If you had shifted to Treasury Bills then, you would be ahead now (vs. the Nasdaq).
