This "locked by a disk utility" problem when I try to defrag started after I installed WinZip. Maybe it's a coincidence, but I don't know wtf I need it for. Can you think of any reason I shouldn't uninstall it?

Perhaps the link below will better explain just what a valuable tool WinZip is.

I remember when you installed it and you seemed to be having difficulty then.

I also remember you were finally able to successfully
use it to uncompress the file ,program or whatever it was you were trying to install.

I have used Winzip for over 4 years now and had no problems with it and could not be without it.

You might want ,if you haven't already,read the WZ help file and see if you may have some option set up improperly.

I am going to look into this "locked by a disk utility" situation and see if I can come up with anything for you.

I'm sure others will pile in also.
