I remember the story as well.
So: Oops, Intel did it again! Did they?
Selling a 600 MHz high perf. piece that is actually performing like 500 under
heavy load is kind of deceptive, I would say. As we don't need 600 when
our PC is waiting for input only.
Maybe better Intel supplies the experimental data before ct, Tom, Aces, Anand, Ziff Davis and
the rest of the bunch do.
Low IPC and reduced C isn't too great a marketing move, don't you agree?
Well, at least this piece .. ..... (tm John Fowler) is selling at low prices, as we learned
