Easter is a great time for bird watching.

Yes, it is.....I hung my usual hanging basket on the front porch on Friday and I told my husband that I would bet the birds would be starting a nest within 3 days. Well, I looked up this morning while on my PC and there they were! They were flying in with nest building material and were setting up house! I have supplied a "home" for what appears to be the same pair of House Finches for the past 4 or 5 years. They usually have 3 or 4 babies each year. The males have such beautiful red caps and chests...very showy!
