One year my state return needed what the number of the elementary school in my area was. I called the school, that information was given to the kids to take home and the school is not allowed to tell me. I had to ambush and torture the number out of a fourth grader.

I was contacted by the state and was threatened for not paying the death tax on my mother's farm. I hauled the cancelled check to the state office and showed them the Illinois Department of Revenue endorsement. The woman asked me, no shit, why they didn't have it recorded in their records.
