You don't know Miles. I he was very suspicious individual, particularly of white males. Here is a quote: "White people in America get all up in your face because they think they are gods gift to whole F***ing world." That said, he didn't care what colors a cats skin was, as long as they could play he didn't care. He always wanted large audience for his music he never wanted to look back either, he found that by combining Rock and Jazz, which is called fusion, Bitches Brew was born out Miles fascination with James Brown, Sly and Hendrix, and white rock super groups and also was the album that brought more and more young white musicians into Miles orbit. I miss him dearly. I miss all that music, lucky I can still hear it my head.

That's because he was wearing a wig near the end of his life.
