Re: - you change the subject !!!
That's a load of crap - typical for you. Intel's guidance is for revenue down 25% and eps down 50% while amd's is for flat sales and profits. You knew what I meant even though I didn't specify a quarter. Has Intel had a lot of big quarter-to-quarter revenue drops recently so that you weren't sure which quarter I meant?
So you go and post numbers from a couple of quarters ago and start gibbering over them. Always looking to the past, aren't you Pervert Paul? Those were the good old days, weren't they?
Well, if you manage to screw together any traces of courage you can find in yourself, and take a look at the future, you'll find that things have changed for Intel.
Intel's revenues are going to be down this quarter, Paul. Down, Down, Down, Down, Down. Bigtime down, and that's even though those revenues are now being generated from $15 Billion in undepreciated plant + some of whatever they pissed away this quarter, instead of the $12 Billion in undepreciated plant they were using to generate the much greater revenue last quarter.
Do you understand what's going on here, Paul? Intel has loaded itself down with $Billions upon $Billions in plant costs at the same time that their revenue is shrinking and profits collapsing. Eventually, Intel is going to have to account for those plant costs that keep rising from a revenue stream that is shrinking.
That's an earnings drag that will go on for years. |
