Les, thanks for the stories. I tend to agree with them all. I don't see semis as anywhere close to buys yet.

At the same time, I tend to agree that the bandwidth glut isn't a glut at all. I have been calling weekly trying to get anyone to get broadband out here where I live. Boise only got it less than a year ago and not all areas have it yet. There is still a lot more needed around the country.

The problem with broadband is paying for it. The telecoms are strapped with debt and the cable companies while a bit more healthy saw what happened to teh telecoms and don't want to repeat the mistake. Out here, Adelphia hooked up the military base since we over pay for everything anyway and they saw the dollar signs. My house is less than 20 miles away and we are still waiting. A town of less than 10K population makes them in no hurry to get us hooked up. Q hasn't even made a peep about even considering DSL out here. I am waiting for either DirectPC or Adelphia cable to get here. Whoever gets here first gets my monthly check. I don't care, I just want bandwidth! -ggg-

Good Luck,

Lee
