I noticed many posts which are variations of the basic point that there is a huge collusion between OPEC, oil companies, Bush the candidate, Bush the president in an attempt to harm the environment and the consumers.

Have you considered posting one less post, and using this time to think the issue through?

If you are saying that OPEC and the rest of the members of this conspiracy theory now suddenly decided that they want to harm the environment and the consumers, why change now? Why didn't they do all they could to harm the consumers and environment for last 20 years?

Can you restate your point with logical arguments. You may want to include the timeline of when this conspiracy happened. You may want to tell us when these people met, how, who is organizing this, when the participants of this conspiracy decided to change their policy on environment, with the new goal being maximum harm, and why the old goal has not been to inflict maximum harm. Ditto about consumers.
