Right about the time the grass needs mowing and the springtime fix-it projects start piling up....YOU go
out and land yourself another job. Pretty slick!!! (LOL).

<groan> Don't remind me. I'm not allowed to use "work" as an excuse to put off any projects. This weekend I removed a bunch of siding from the workshop that got destroyed (the siding, not the workshop) in recent winds, started digging up the 4" PVC pipe (to power a hydroelectric generator) that broke the second I started burying it in the lake's dam, brought some top soil up to the yard around the house, started mowing and had the backhoe break an aeroquip fitting about 1/4 mile from the house, making it completely immobile until I fix it.

Oh, and I started removing the floor and joists from our garage/carport-to-recroom conversion. "Kitchen Guy" (who disappeared several months ago) spent a ton of my money raising that floor about 18" because he assumed the furnace's cold air return needed to go under it, only to have the heating contractor negate that with a rather clever solution.

So..... The projects aren't gonna cut me any slack at all.
