Leading Distributor to Bring FastComm's Products into Booming
Korean Market

STERLING, VA, June 10, 1997-FastComm Communications Corp.
today announced that Garnet Systems Co., Ltd., of Korea, has added
FastComm's line of data/voice/video capable Frame Relay Access
Devices (FRADs) to its suite of offerings. Garnet, a leading supplier of
network access products for public and private networks in Korea, has
signed a partnership agreement with FastComm, valued at $3.5 million
dollars over a 24 month period.

Available under the agreement are all models of FastComm's FRAD line,
including MonoFRADT, EtherFRADT, RingFRADT and
VoiceFRADT products, featuring:

Advanced internetworking capabilities, for SNA over Frame
Relay, with full SDLC/QLLC/LLC2 conversion and NCP 7.X
support, over serial and LAN ports,
Enhanced network interfaces with optional SNMP managed
T1/E1 or 56/64 Kbps DSU/CSUs, for full T1/Fractional T1,
E1/G.703 Nx64, DDS and DDS2 compatibility,
ISDN and V.34/56K modem options, with full-featured dial
backup and on-demand networking capabilities,
Award-winning Voice over Frame Relay (VoFR) capable
VoiceFRADT products,
Plus, exclusive MaximumPRIORITYT multi-stream,
multiprotocol prioritization, with FastRATET active CIR control,
for the best LAN, legacy, voice and video throughput.

Communications equipment to major Korean Telcos. Under the
agreement, Garnet have the right to market our networking products to
their territory and we'll work cooperatively in order to adapt our

Garnet was founded in 1987 in order to develop and resell advanced
networking products in the Korean market. The company provides full
sales and support for the products it represents. In 1996, Garnet's
revenues exceeded $100 million.
