Susie In windows 98: Start: Find: Files or folders: type in "msconfig" less the quotes click find now... make sure it is searching your entire C drive. One of my puters defaults back to just searching the desktop. double click on the msconfig program there is a tab there for startup uncheck items you do not want to run on boot up. windows 95 requires a downloadable program. I forget it's name but someone here surely knows it. I do not know about 2k or ME. ht Mag
