To me, then, belief is mainly an affirmation that it all matters, really and truly, in the fabric of things and to their Creator........ It seems to me that this is the purpose religion is supposed to serve--bringing hope and comfort to those who hunger for it. I'm glad it works for you. Too bad that religion can't seem to accomplish that worthy goal without all the baggage. Karen
