I hope this isn't OT. I take threadequette seriously, and try to read the entire thread before delurking. But I found you here last week, and can't manage 18,000 posts. So, sorry if this isn't the place ...

The problem: on my old system (Win 95; Office 97) I set up a website. Nothing fancy, but it does the job. Just a few pics and graphics, but everything worked. Then I bought a new computer (Win ME, Office 00). Now when I try to include a pic on a webpage, the pic doesn't show up when the page loads. If you click on the box, it takes you to the pic alone, but I can't integrate the two. Note that I can still modify text on the pages I made on the old system, and the text and pics show up properly integrated. I just can't seem to add new images.

As near as I can tell I'm doing everything the same. That doesn't mean I didn't forget some important step, or just plain do something stupid, but I've checked URLs and hyperlinks and bookmarks, and I can't see that I'm doing anything differently.

I would appreciate any thoughts anyone might have, particularly if there are tricks with the MS updates.

TIA
