I think the Nokia employee was saying that

QCOM manages to upset many companies because they execute very well.


This has got to be a nightmare for NOK. Despite Jorma Ollila's repeated claims that they are going to take major share in the cdma sector, the only approach they've found that works is to private label handsets. That's not a high margin business, so they face altering their business model to something similar to Kyocera's, or buying expertise from qcom. If they do neither, their ability to survive is highly suspect.
