After we got onto this subject, it occurred to me that I was not being clear enough. There is really only one thing you have to prove, the only thing that really matters in the entire NT: that the resurrection happened. Actually, I'll settle for any of the miracles- -walking on water, loaves and fishes, Lazarus. But if you cannot demonstrate these, everything else can be 100% accurate and IT DOESN'T MATTER. Because the Bible can be an accurate historical account but if the connection to God is not established, then it is just another history book. Suppose you found a good, accurate American history book that claimed Lincoln rose from death and walked about for several days, then ascended into heaven. Would you believe that?
